Cool train video

Post by Skitterbug »

I like trains but have only been on them a few times. Train service isn't part of our area's transport choices. We see freight trains but there aren't passenger trains available. Anyway, I found this video intriguing!

How this guy finds the time to put all that together...and its quite a commitment to the house... Imagine vacuuming...mowing the lawn...just closing the front door! I doubt this guy has a wife (or she is more "into" trains than he is!!)

Maybe his wife is glad that he's involved with train construction rather than something else non-productive!

Since I really don't like sweeping/cleaning, this would be the perfect excuse not to do it! It would be hubby's chore - maybe he could send out a sweeper train!

In which case if you are ever in this part of the world you must the National Railway Museum and the North Yorkshire Moors Railway*

Not exactly but during the summer holidays when the boys were out there playing with it other kids would appear, with their father in tow sometimes too.

:hello: Ken

The links to the train info definitely kept me entertained for a bit! I also noted that instruction is offered for digital photo workshops!

Okay, now that you've mentioned your model railway, pictures of it are expected! So start 'tootling' along and 'get 'er done'! :yep:

Thanks for the reply!

Alan, it seems you are trying to shunt some comments onto the siding?

I'm surprised this thread hasn't deviated onto monorails - they do make for good one-liners.
