Reality is stranger than fiction...

Post by StuartR »

The latest issue of New Scientist has an article on automatic cars, which includes the following sentence...

"...[This] approach suffers from the problem that it is pretty much impossible to anticipate all possible scenarios - for example, an encounter with a woman in an electric wheelchair chasing a duck into the road with a broom, as recorded by a Google car in 2014."

You couldn't make it up!

I must admit that I'd actually buy that morning edition just to read that story!
