The most insane rope-swing bungee jump, Ever!
I'm almost sad I missed out on this event! It did look like fun!

Rudi

Sad? The falls are still there and you have the time to indulge. Just remember to wear the GoPro and post the photos when your sanity returns!Rudi wrote:

Actually the falls have eroded away and the gorge is only 13 feet in depth. However, if you send me a GoPro, I'll be happy to point it out of the aeroplane window the next time I travel. The footage should be fairly spectacular at 35000ft.BobArch2 wrote:Sad? The falls are still there and you have the time to indulge.

I'm going to challenge you on your statement. Searching for Magwa Falls brings up more than 20,000 hits and most describe the falls as being 144 metres. So forget that airplane ride and get your bungee cord gear in shape. Buy the GoPro and after you post the photos of you jumping off the falls I will reimburse you for the cost of the GoPro!Rudi wrote:Actually the falls have eroded away and the gorge is only 13 feet in depth. Bob, I don't easily back out of a challenge, so let me say that if this opportunity ever did present itself, I'd "nervously" be willing to film you the episode in full 1080HD quality. I am innately adventurous but I don't get (or really care to make) opportunities to do these crazy things. However, if invited or found myself in a team-building exercise and I was challenged, I would probably go through with it (for real!!). So, who knows... I still have a few years in the corporate environment, and if the department I work for decides to do something wild like this for team building... , I'll post some footage to suit.

Rudi
