'Star Wars' Spaceships Make Absolutely No Sense

Post by Rudi »

I'm not a die hard star wars fan; as a matter of fact I haven't watched any of the star wars movies (AFAIK)

However, I did enjoy this article. The questions (though admittedly irrelevant in fantasy) were thought provoking and real (esp. the questions in the X-Wing fighter section); and does give the opinion that we are still far from the reality of the tech we so dearly fantasize on.

Rudi

Star Wars spaceships are not supposed to make sense, they're supposed to look cool while having enough strategically place hatches to allow the puppeteers to mount their sticks.

(note that is special effects puppeteers, NOT Pierson's Puppeteers - although that would have been super-cool)

Ah, yes - you need to have watched at least one of the Star Wars films before you get access to the Google-Force...

Rudi, you have to give up your obsession with Apple and embrace mangoes, everything will be fine then !

And if you are going to embrace a mango, Rudi, I suggest you do it in the privacy of your own home.
