Would you believe, one of the deeded architectural covenants for our housing area, contains an item that states that all outdoor clothes line areas have to be enclosed in a 6 foot stockade fence, so as not to be visible to any passer byes or other neighbors. We have one, as required but it is used for a dog pen or enclosed garden, never for clothes.
