Would you believe, one of the deeded architectural covenants for our housing area, contains an item that states that all outdoor clothes line areas have to be enclosed in a 6 foot stockade fence, so as not to be visible to any passer byes or other neighbors. Heaven forbid that someone would see someone's drawers hanging in full view!
We have one, as required but it is used for a dog pen or enclosed garden, never for clothes. :groan:
