Adorable....
Did you give it a name and does it like being petted?
And will it turn into a butterhund?

Rudi

It likes to be scratched behind the ears.
I'll have to wait and see what it becomes...

Nah, I don't mind most bugs (wasps excepted, and the kind of caterpillar that can sting you--they're out!). They do their thing, I do mine. Only occasionally does a bug provoke a girlish scream (like a spider dropping out of the sunshade in the car onto me).

When I was a pre-teen I was walking past a bush in our back yard and a large locust jumped out of the bush onto my shoulder. I got such a traumatic fright that I still do not like them. :flee:

We have cicadas around here... one year, during a particularly bad episode of them, we (meanly) convinced a guy who worked at the lab with us that the cicadas were poisonous. He used to run madly from the building to his car at the end of the day... finally someone took pity on him and explained that the bugs aren't poisonous, just hideously ugly and loud. I'm not sure he really believed that, though.

We were sort of mean to him... we convinced him that one of the project manager's names was pronounced "MAR-CEE-AAAAH" instead of "Mar-shaw", so for several days, he was using her new name much to her confusion. Finally, she asked him who told him how to pronounce her name... we were busted! :flee:

Ah, but you see, he got the better of us in the lab. He left as soon as it started snowing one day, telling us he'd never driven in snow so he was worried. We laughed and continued working. The predicted 2-3 inches turned into something like 10, which of course paralyzed Nashville totally... gridlock everywhere. It took us about 6 hours to just get out of Nashville, while our coworker was calling us, telling us how much he enjoyed hot chocolate and watching it snow from home.

(Thus began the "Tony" rule--if he left due to weather, we'd all leave...)
