Thank goodness those things do not affect me in the slightest.

I really do recognize many of those superstitions. My mom was very superstitious but as far as I know she was not from Appalachia but I'm guessing she may have had ancestors who were. Also many of the terms used in that video I have heard. Some bring back fond memories. Thanks for posting them.
