I had heard several of them before (4, 8, 10, 17, 20) and variations of a couple of others...
Best wishes,
Hans

#5; Think of the tune, it goes "Na Na Na Na...."

#14: Consider that, prior to being told he didn't understand irony, two buses had come along at once.

As for Chris not getting #22, I would have thought if anyone was going to get that one it would have been Chris.

Now please can some one help me out with the two momma ones, #6 and #18? Clearly momma has some sort of mathematical connection but I can't see it.

#6 Your momma is so classless > "she has no class" > Karl Marx's ideal was a society not divided into lower class, middle class, upper class > a classless society.

#18 Your momma is so mean = average > if she is entirely average, her standard deviation = 0.

Not the world's greatest jokes...

Where is "na" in "do ra me fa so la ti do"? (I learned all I needed to know about music from "The Sound of Music"). I guess it must be performed by the Nasalharmonic Choir of Greater Gotham.

BY THE WAY - I am suitably embarrased I didn't get it because I did watch those campy shows way back when! "Holy Senior Moment, Batman!"

Paul, before you can "get" any of those 20 odd punchlines, you first got to visit all the bars and drink all the beers on offer between #1 and #20.
Only then will you "get" them.

You've never heard someone come out the expression, "You wait ages and then two buses come along at the same time", when say they've been frustrated by something only to have more than one solution suddenly present itself?
