There is a great display at the Tower of London at the moment. They are planting large (about 8cm across) ceramic poppies in the moat. The final poppy will be planted on November 11th, at which time there will be one poppy for each allied death in the 1914-1918 war.
I took some photos of the poppies yesterday, and after they had been automatically uploaded from my phone to my Google account, Google stitched a few of them together into a panorama. That's a very useful service.
This panorama didn't include the window (round the corner to the left) where the poppies appear to be cascading out into the moat.
