They must be standing on the outer deck of the Enterprise, though I don't recall it being so non aerodynamic??

Did you know that Ian Fleming, the author of the James Bond novels, met the real James Bond - a famous ornithologist?

Hans, was there anyone there with a white kitty cat?

I wonder if that's really a ship, Rudi, or a holodeck?

The Zumwalts are ( I assume ) relatives of the late Admiral Elmo Zumwalt, who was the youngest Chief of Naval Operations. Very popular with the sailors and was famous for sending his "Z grams" instead of telegrams and his big bushy eyebrows that couldn't be missed.
It seems a little strange that a full "four striper" Captain was being put in charge of a DDG destroyer, usually a job for a Commander. Maybe he was a junior Captain and just received his promotion? Downgrade from a Starship.

Yes, it's "THOSE" Zumwalts. Zumwalt was an impressive CNO, by all means.
I found the photo in the September 2014 Naval Proceedings (great magazine, btw).

Huh...am I missing something!
How do you relate Ian Fleming and James Bond with the Zumwalt's and Captain Kirk on their holodeck Enterprise, unless you're trying to secretly pirate the thread and save the world?

I think I figured it out....
Ian Fleming, James Bond and Captain Kirk all love viennas. That's why Captain Kirk named his ship, "The Enterprise".
