Polish politician promises to polish his English

Post by HansV »

Poland's prime minister Donald Tusk has unanimously been chosen as the new president of the European Council. There was some hesitation because he doesn't speak English well, but he has promised to polish his English before he starts his new job in December...
Best wishes,
Hans

They built a new football stadium in Warsaw but they had to pull it down.

No matter where you were you were sitting behind a pole.

We should put that to the vote with a poll.

Australia was going to have a referendum on changing the flag.

It was going to be a flag poll.
