:yikes: It would take a massive amount of time to type all of that info! :flee: :hairout:

I'm not "board", but decided to hammer away at the clicking game so someone could answer your post! I managed 47 of them. Who is next? :innocent:

I have to agree that it helps that the test is in the language that I am accustomed to so accuracy seems easier to accomplish. I was never in a job that required fast typing, but I have always enjoyed being able to type. This is a pic of the typewriter that I used in my first (and only) semester of typing class. It was slow going with the manuals. Our current keyboards are so much nicer to use! Yea for progress!
Hi Skitter!

You are very fast. I lack that manual dexterity, but I certainly do remember the old Royal typewriters. I think we also had some ancient Underwoods, too. Those who took the second course in typing got to use the new whiz-bang electric typewriters. I still have an old IBM Executive typewriter - with individual letter arms, not the Selectric ball - that was used for less than 6 months before being sold as government surplus. We know that because we know the employee it was purchased for and who used it for those 6 months.
When I worked for Litton Industries, one of our Divisions was Royal Typewriter, HQ in Hartford, Connecticut.
They had a guy who could type at 125 WPM! Watching him type was just a blur of hands and fingers. Of course, he was in Marketing and his specialty was demoing at various trade shows all over the country. What a show he put on! This was on pre-electric typewriters.

Well, I was the slowest on the K/B, but looks like I'm pretty nippy with the mouse
