You can always count on Statistics Canada needing help.

"The Canadian economy added a whopping 42,000 jobs in July, not 200 as previously reported, Statistics Canada said as it released a highly anticipated correction to last Friday’s erroneous figures." gives new meaning to the adage (aphorism?) about there being lies, damned lies, and whopping statistics!

P.S. For those of us who are into this sort of thing, there's also a reference to "integrity" as a bonus, but I don't know if it's a signing bonus.

P.P.S. "The new data lifted the Canadian dollar by about a third of a cent, as markets reacted what was seen as a major improvement over the incorrect information Statistics Canada released last Friday." Just in case this might be some sort of insider money-market scam, there may also be an opening for an integrity officer.
