Can one read a CD-audio book?
I download and listen to dozens of podcasts each week.
I borrow and read dozens of books each week.
But what the heck am I doing with Audio Books on CDs?
I borrow the CD Audio-book from the library and transcribe it to my little podcast-listening device, and then playback the book as I walk around town or drift off to sleep.
But am I “reading” or am I “listening to” The Elegant Universe by Brian Greene?

If you fall asleep, then your'e not reading or listening...ChrisGreaves wrote:...and then playback the book as I walk around town or drift off to sleep.

IMHO, you are listening to an audio book or podcast; though ultimately reading and listening are both used to gather information, so its base purpose is the same.
