Last month, I crossed the "Barrage de la Rance", briefly shown at 2:30 in the video. This is a tidal power plant ("usine marémotrice" in French) built in the estuary of the river Rance in Brittany.

How cool! I think the idea of tidal power is really something we should look into in more detail.
