I AM GETTING B****** TIRED OF THIS!

Post by ChrisGreaves »

Untitled.png
A snaphot of the NWS radar taken around 1:30pm NY time.
I put out the STEEL patio chairs on Ms B's balcony tbhis morning and the wind is playing nine-pins with them.
Various forecasts have called for freezing rain, sleet, snow, temperatures as low as 1C. Winds gusting to 61 KM/h (and remember energy is proportional to the CUBE of the velocity)
The B***** RTL breakfast show hasn't changed its frecast in fourteen days - "Vingt-Trois a Strassbourg; vingt-neuf a Marseiles, dix-neuf a Paris, blah-blah-blase"
Mississauga has been blotted out by a rain-storm heading our way, and Ms B lives on the Bleeding border of Toronto/Mississauga.

I hate the weather, France, Toronto, the French ...

Really!
"Torontonians can expect a major temperature swing within the next 24 hours with a high of 20C Monday and a low of -8C Tuesday."

"Furthermore, ice pellets will arrive Monday night as the temperature plummets, bringing with it a risk of freezing rain early Tuesday morning."

Fairly similar here: Sunday was 38C and today (Mon) it was 21C. Thats a 17C drop in one day...
Large fluctuations!

Here in Cleveland we are 67F right now and tomorrow we get snow and max out at 35F. Yup, getting a little tired of this myself. I guess the good news is that Thursday our high will be 64F.

(all forecasts are per actual weather forecasters so you know that they are probably not valid)
Who will you Inspire today?

Here in TN we're at 66 degrees F after heavy-ish rains overnight. And we're supposed to drop to mid-to-upper 20s!! Dang it!!!! (My arthritic joints are not amused.)

Just be happy that we (Michigan) usually takes the worst of it before sending it on to you.

We were in the 80's last week and haven't been out of the 50s today. Freeze expected tonight. We had the storm front before dawn this morning.

Fluctuations isn't my problem.
I'd swoon at the prospect of the temperature dropping to 21c

OK Bob.
Thanks for the corroboration.
So far I haven't heard from anybody in Yuma, or its wonderful state.

I'm actually considering northern Florida again; that's how bad it is.

I'll stick with TN. I've lived up and down the East Coast of the US, and so far--TN has been the best. Amazing I'd say that... but it's true. It's close enough to the Gulf Coast for quick visits, and the Smoky Mountains.

I used to laugh at Americans who thought all Canadians lived in Igloos.

I'm starting to think that an igloo might be warmer.

At least it would be an honest way of saying "I live in an ice-encased world". :bananas:  :bwaah: :gramps: :snow: :snow: :snow:

Gonna be rough down here in Tampa Bay, too. Some rain tomorrow and the temperature will probably drop into the 50's (F) :flee: before getting back up to 80.

Ohhhh, the inhumanity!!!!!! :crybaby:

(Now where did I leave that 2nd bottle of sunscreen????)

If you don't like the ghastly weather, why don't you move to a more clement part of the world?
We are having at least the third successive day of balmy sunshine, here...!

We've now had 3 days in a row without the temperatures going over20°. I'm seriously considering buying a tent and live in the Sahara for a while.
