It's an animal thing

Post by Jezza »

Jezza Bear and Al Bear Einstein were having their usual late night cup of hot chocolate (with extra marshmallows) at the Magic Forest University when the red phone connected to MF1 rang.

"Good Lord JB get that, it hasn't rung in months since the faculty management take over"

JB ran to the telephone and picked up

"Hello, code in please?....."

JB then took down a list of words and then said "We're on to it!" and placed the phone back on its cradle.

JB handed the list to Al Bear saying "Three of the listed animals are connected in some way and if we find them MF1 will be able to find Agent X and her location"

Dove,
Eagle,
Leopard,
Lion,
Cow,
Ibex,
Marten

Al Bear glanced at the list and then to JB "I think we need the assistance of Eileen's Gang this is not as simple as it may seem"

As JB and Al Bear sat down to look the problem through...

"We seem to be flagging on this problem JB, I think it is time for a clue"

Even with the clue I was flagging but increasing my screen view to 400% it became clear

Nice one

I can't believe the coincidence of this puzzler, but I just finished watching a program on our PBS channel called Nature which dealt with The Balkan Peninsula and the almost extinct creatures who call it their home. It is all online now and can be viewed. I have never been so impressed with the presentation of a program like I was with this one. You were transported back in time to Tolkien's time with hobbits, elves, and Gandolf http://www.pbs.org/wnet/nature/episodes ... ld_balkans It's great and not only educational, but very breathtakingly beautiful country. I highly recommend and it comes right on the heels of this puzzler....amazing~~~

Since the video isn't available in my region I have to ask: the hobbits lived in the Balkans?
