I think the appearance must vary widely. I reckon some of those strange orchids look rather more impressive.

We had one (don't know the species) that our dachshund would stand and bark at when it came into bloom.
I'm sure he thought there were foreign faces appearing uninvited into his backyard.

Every one of those orchids are perfectly names (except for the MOTH orchid, which looks more like a hummingbird).
