Another escape game: Lo.Nyan's Room

Post by HansV »

See Lo.Nyan's Room #10
Text is in Japanese only, but it's not necessary to be able to read it.
Early in the game, you'll find a camera. You can use it to photograph clues...
There are two possible endings (ways to escape).

I could understand escaping from an arctic lab, but why would I want to escape from this room...it looks great; modern, comfortable and a wonderful view!!

Rudi

I cannot seem to get out of the main rooms. I have a lot of artifacts including the key and the contents of the cupboard, round red ball, tall cone, Upright 'thing' which looks like a double pain. Solved the pinball thing.

What now ??

Hints/spoilers, please use responsibly:
Spoiler
The key opens a door...
Spoiler
The tall cone is a flashlight. Perhaps it can bring some light in a dark place.
Spoiler
Have you tried the paper napkin dispensers? Lots of times?
Spoiler
There's a picture on the wall between the two orange-curtained windows. It's a clue.
Best wishes,
Hans

Found the door - but I swear I had tried that many time before.
Spoiler

Thanks - Used it when I opened the door to the wall showing 3 dots and got a Green Ball
Spoiler

Yes. On click 8 I got a folded napkin but cant find anywhere to use it.
Spoiler
There's a picture on the wall between the two orange-curtained windows. It's a clue.
It looks like a Walk-Thru sequence of rooms. If so, do I try from the bottom up, or from the top down. Neither seem to work.

More hints:
Spoiler
Click on the folded napkin, then click About item and click on the napkin again. You can't do anything with the information yet - it's for later.
Spoiler
There is something else to be found in the darkened room apart from the green ball.
Spoiler
The picture between the two orange-curtained windows shows a sequence of items to the left / right of the line. Can you find a place where you can click left / right? It's not far from where you started.
Best wishes,
Hans

The only place I can find for a sequence is the 2-buttons in the sideboard.
I have tried RLRRLLR and LRRLLRL but neither work.

Was there somewhere else, perhaps.

Spoiler
The top-down sequence should work there. After entering it, you should hear a lock being opened. Then step away and click on the compartment to the left of the two buttons.
Best wishes,
Hans

Look at the two folded napkins. Together with the one you have already unfolded, they provide a clue for the contraption in your inventory.
If you need a more specific hint:
Spoiler
compass

I'm still on the couch enjoying the view.
BTW: I used the phone to order pizza and wine. If someone can bring some music, we can have a party when the sun goes down...

Escape from the Arctic was necessary for survival...here, it's paradise. Why leave!!
Hans found the perfect escape game...one you don't need to escape from.

And BTW: Why is it called Room #10 when clearly it is Room 582

Few things are taken seriously in the Light Relief section of Eileen's Lounge! Any thread can veer off in unexpected directions...
