Chess Cheaters

Post by BenCasey »

What is going on here. I am black and it is White's turn to move but he cannot.
Titans Chess has declared it a draw.
See picture.

According to the rules it is a stalemate - white's king is not in check, but any move would put him in check.
Best wishes,
Hans

Why not say "I cannot make a valid move. You are better than me, therefore you have WON !"

How can it be a draw when I have fought tooth and nail to force him into submission"

Frustrated, or wot !

I understand your frustration, but the rule is that you win if you place your opponent's king in check (or if your opponent resigns). If there is no legal move left, it is a stalemate...
Best wishes,
Hans
