Download speed

My download speed has suddenly (today) reduced to a crawl.....

It could be a problem with your ISP. Perhaps it'll speed up again. If the slowness persists, I'd contact your ISP.

Even if you are on an 'unlimited' broadband contract your ISP will have some sort of fair use policy in place. If you have been a v. heavy user your ISP may have throttled back your speed.

Are you using DSL, Cable, Sat or (shudder) dial up or what?
Definitely agree...... contact your ISP.

If you are slow in paying your bill, they in turn may feel that you deserve a slower speed. :evilgrin:

I am on unlimited broadband (dsl), I think.... I have been downloading lots of pdf files from my local council website over the last few days, mostly <1mb, but some a little larger. I am not generally a heavy user so it's a little rude if they are throttling me..... I'll see how it looks later, once the football finishes.. :smile:
