I was just about to post a link to this story myself, only to find that you had got there first. I think Yoo-Fee sounds about right, unless by analogy with UEFA (for the non-Europeans that's the Union of European Football Associations, usually pronounced Yoo-A-Fa) it will be Yoo-A-Fee.

I forgot to mention that I was amazed when pressing F10 at boot time on my Dell PowerEdge T610 server last week to find that something called UEFI was already there, although at the time I didn't realise its significance..
