Need Help with BlueTooth

Post by BobH »

I have a hand-me-down HP laptop that does not natively have BlueTooth; so I bought a USB BT adapter dongle. I've installed the software that came with it and put the dongle in a USB port where it emits a blue light indicating that it has power. I've tried to pair a set of BT earplugs but without success. The earplugs tell me when they power on and then announce 'pairing' but pairing never completes. I have no problem pairing these same earplugs with my iPhone.

I'm at a loss to know what to try next. I'd be much obliged for suggestions.

 The problem was me! I forgot to remove the device from my iPhone BT available devices.
Sorry for wasting bandwidth, but there is always the possibility that my faux pas will help someone else. :hairout:

 :chocciebar: :thankyou:
