there was me getting all excited...

Post by stuck »

...because my monitor stopped working this morning. "Oh good," thinks I, "at last something with which to justify a nice new big monitor."

However, having just crawled around under the desk it turns out it was just the power cable that had come loose and it's actually OK.

You could just give it a quite surge of power by connecting it directly to your homes lightning rod when the next storm rolls in!

Umm, it wouldn't fit on the desk! I'd settle for one of these:

Unless it turns out that the ..umm.. monitor power cable socket, has become ...oooh... intermittently depolarised and could fail, no wait, fail catastrophically!!, at any moment.

(This star trek science reason for buying a new monitor is copyright JW, but can be used for non-profit use by anyone who reads it, really)

It was probably a long walk to get to the power socket, hence
