Touchscreen Monitor, bamboo pen & touch and pointers

Post by Cah »

I have two monitors. The primary is an Acer T230H touchscreen monitor. I also have a bamboo pen and touch. My problem is with the pointer. Whenever I touch the touchscreen monitor the cursor changes from an arrow to a a small white cross with a shadow. It's almost invisible on white windows. The only way to get the regular cursor back is to press a button on the bamboo tablet. The button is set to click.

I've had this hardware for a while and only started having this trouble recently. I reinstalled the operating system so it may be that I botched some setting. Can anyone think of anything to try to get the pointer working properley. I don't mind it changing when I touch the touchscreen but it should come back when I start using the pen. Thanks.

I would think that this would be a setting in the Mouse properties on the Pointers tab. You can customize that and I am thinking that it is the precission Select option.
Who will you Inspire today?
