Logitech USB Desktop Microphone

This is a fairly old release mic and I am wondering if it will work with Windows7/64bit? I can't see why not but before I buy its worth checking if 'Eileen' has any knowledge.

Are there other USB Mic model recommendations ... has to be USB, my pc built-in mics are useless as is a normal ext mic connection. I currently use a usb headset for eg Skype, but it would be useful to use the pc speakers and separate ext mike when conducting a video call.
