Yesterday, received a message from Laplink about a promotion to get an 80% discount on Ashampoo Burning Studio 9.

There was no indication of an expiry date but I would suggest it won't be on the table for very long. I have been a long time user of Nero but... time to try another app.

Yesterday, received a message from Laplink about a promotion to get an 80% discount on Ashampoo Burning Studio 9.

I went from Nero to Ashampoo a few years ago and have never looked back! It's a great program. If you do any searching in the "other place" you'll discover that they are very prone to offering free or low priced versions to "hook" new users and usually, from there the upgrade prices are very reasonable, like on the order of $10 bucks.

I also downloaded the Easeus Partition Manager.

I can tell that my pensions have just been deposited... I also upgraded my PowerDVD 8 Ultra to 9 Ultra. Now, gotta go looking for more updates before the better half spends all the pension $$$
