phpBB Extensions General Error

Hello

If you were to update the Boards Announcements Extension (phpbb_boardannouncements_1.2.0) on a phpBB Forum and then the ACP Extensions Tab displayed the text below, would the missing table be installed if I reinstall the extension again?

I think this happened because I didn't disable the extension before replacing it.
