Converting .vcf to Excel

Post by RonH »

I need to keep my Contact lists as separate entities eg Windows Live Mail/Mobile Phone/Android Tablet are not combined. Both WLM and Mob Contacts (Nokia) have been saved in a pc folder in .vcf format. (Note that using Nokia Suite for my mobile only seems to permit exporting in the .vcf format).
Any usage recommendations please about the best free conversion software for .vcf to Excel ... I want to store these Contact files on my tablet in a folder and not as part of the tablet Contact listing.
Thanks
Ron

Hi Ron,

Remember that you can convert .vcf files to .csv too. Excel opens .csv files instandtly; so if you cannot file a suitable convertion app to export to .xls, you can also look for one that exports to .csv.

See these links to common ones:
Note I have not tested them, and as always, be vigilant when installing these freeware apps (for unwanted crapware)

If you are not able to convert your vcf files into excel format, i have another solution for your problem you can use free vCard to CSV Converter software to convert your vcf files into csv format, after this you can easily open you cvf files in excel sheets. Thanks Colton. & welcome to this forum.

This is an old thread of mine which got solved ... the 'easy' way by changing products and email providers. So I now have just one address book.
