Good streaming downloader?

I've tried about 4 different applications but none of them work all the time for all sites. Is there one that does record live videos from anywhere, or almost anywhere without hiccoughs?

I use VSO Downloader and have never had issues with it.
One of the better ones I have used over the years.

There are, no doubt, many good ones but I have used Download Helper for years without problem.
