See How to Start Using Dropbox: 14 Steps - wikiHow
Step 10 states: "Once the upload finishes the file should be visible inside the shared folder."

Re: DROP BOX
Dropbox is not a mail system. You are not 'sending' a file to Dropbox. Dropbox is like an external hard drive. When you put a file into your Dropbox you just copying a file to a folder.

Re: DROP BOX
I don't remember what Email handler you are using but Thunderbird has a similar option as OE.
In Tools>Account Settings>Copies and Folders:BOB

Re: DROP BOX
When it is being transferred the icon in the folder it will show a small red cross in the bottom left of the main icon (which itself shows the file type). Once it is done the icon will change to show a green circle in the bottom left of the main icon.Dave Davison wrote:Is there a tab that can be clicked to show if a file has been sent please sucessfully? I don't see one for "SENT" Dave.
Small files will typically be so fast that you wont see this happening but larger files will take longer and you will be able to see the difference.
