Help Desk software (free)

Hi,
Can anybody recommend any helpdesk software for a charity.
It needs to handle tickets, priorities, progress and that sort of thing.
Free is possible.

A Google search turns up several.
I have no experience with any of those though, so I can't offer recommendations.

I also found many links but I was hoping that some of the guys on this site might have some first hand experience and be able to make a recommendation as to Good or Avoid like the plague.
I was looking for a simple to understand and use software and not an all-singing etc.
