I'm wandering around in a daze that includes Blogger, WordPress, MailChimp and Feedburner.
I can't say I know what I'm doing, but I'm getting there.
Please and thank You: What's the difference, if any, between a "gadget" and a "widget"?
I begin to suspect they are synonyms for "a bit of html or javascript code that sits behind a command button on your web page".
And while we are at it, are there any other synonyms for that term that are likely to confuse me in my wanderings? i.e. Gadget==Widget== ?????

Re: Gadget vs. Widget terminology
BUT, only those gadgets that meet the requirements of the Vista and Windows 7 will work in the true Gadget area of these OS's.
The Widgets, from other sources are just that and not part of the Windows Gadget world.
