One false negative out of a thousand is acceptable for me right now. I'll just have to live with it (it's not the biggest problem in my life), and take a second-level look when I have amassed a couple more examples.
The ie object (MS link provided above) seems to offer a versatile set of tricks if/when I take the plunge.
