I've got a Netgear Router:
Hardware Version WGR614V9
Firmware Version V1.2.24_37.0.35(does not work with CD version below 2.0)
Looking at the log, I get heaps of "DoS attacks: Storm" from my own external IP address.
There's never any slowdown or detrimental affect on my network that I can notice.
Question is, is this a Netgear bug, or should I worry about it, considering that said "attacks" are always originating from my own IP address.
Googeling didn't really help, hence this post.

Does N300 - WNR2000v2 - Dos Attack: STORM - problem? - NETGEAR Forums shed any light?
(Did you Google for 'dos attack' or 'dos attackS' ?)

Thanks Leif, but, all those attacks in that thread are from internal IP addresses, 192.168 etc. Mine are apparently from my external IP address...
