Hello, I've just switched over to Shadowprotect after Acronis 2011 totally failed to find any images from its recovery disk. Now I'm trying to get my head around the Shadowprotect way of doing things. I was surprised to see Windows loading up from the boot disk. My questions are about the options available when restoring. First, is a partition automatically reformatted when doing a restore? I guess not, because right-clicking a selected target partition gives options to remove a partition or clean it. I tried cleaning but it totally destroyed the partition selected! Does anyone know how these options work? I usually restore my system if I suspect it might have been compromised by malware. So I want to make sure a partition is clean before doing a restore. Will some experienced users offer some advice. Thanks,
Chris
