Password Managers
Hello, I have been using LastPass but have been advised to stop using it. I tried BitWarden but found it to be super safe, as even I could not gain access to the logins I created. It was the free version I tried which has limited help features. Any input from here would be greatly appreciated.
If it wasn't for bad luck I'd have NO luck at all.

I've used Password Safe for years, ever since it was suggested by the IT people where I worked before I retired. It's

Re: Password Managers
I have used Keepass but have recently switched to Roboform. The latter has the 2 primary advantages that I like a lot: 1) cross platform functionality (Win/iOS), and 2) encrypted private cloud storage. Support is easier/better for Roboform IME as well.

Re: Password Managers
With LastPass, I have it set to remember my email & master password, so I get logged on, when I open FF or Chrome. It gives me access to all my Secure Notes & login links.
With Bitwarden app on FF, I am unable to open my Vault but can login to the website.
Will now try Ken's suggestion.

Re: Password Managers
Have you considered Firefox's built-in password manager? Rather simple to use, syncs across windows, Apple and Android devices (maybe more). It may not have all the bells and whistles of other managers but it provides me with all the functionality I need.

1Password.com gets my vote, I have used it for over 8 years. And the Canadian link for Canadian prices.

Hi Ted. Are you able to tell us why you were advised to stop using it?
Thanks, Chris

LastPass has had far too many of these security incidents over the years

:crosssed fingers: So far my MSWord document, one of the 237 documents boasting the strange name of WhatFaq.doc among my 15,218 documents, hasn't attracted any global attention.
Cheers, Chris

Re: Password Managers
AFAIK, LastPass has not lost any Login or Password for it's users. My password has 17 characters, LP recommends over 12.
