I've recently downloaded, installed and tested Prey, an open source anti-theft solution for Mac, PCs & Phones.

The laptop web-cam took "the thief's" (i.e. mine) picture for the report, you have activated that feature though. It showed the location of my laptop accurate to about 5 meters.

Very comprehensive features and easy to use.
