I've just finished installing MSE on my daughters XP(H) system - she had a trial version of NOD32 due to run out in a few days and didn't want to pay for her antivirus software. I noted, whilst doing this, that she only has the Windows firewall installed. Now, I know from previous posts that MSE and Windows firewall is considered adequate protection but would be interested to know if there is a 'freebee' software firewall out there (that works on both incoming and outgoing) that would be compatible with MSE - or should I really not be that worried?
Thanks,

ZoneAlarm Free should work with MSE, but I don't see the need, unless your daughter has very risky surfing habits
Best wishes,

Well, as her father I can say that she has some dubious habits, but I don't think risky surfing comes into the equasion - unless you count e-bay!!
Thanks for confirmation.
