Malwarebytes has released a new version of their popular Anti-Malware utility. There is a free version and a paid premium version; the premium version now comes with a yearly fee.
The interface has been redesigned, and scanning for rootkits has been added as an option.

The interface seems to be more "kinder and gentler." ( user friendlier ) and the addition of rootkit scan is a good one.

It seems that v2 Free no longer lets you do a quick scan (now called Hyper scan), at least on my XP box I can't select it.

Re: Update: Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2.0 released
Hyper Scan in version 2.0 roughly corresponds to Flash Scan in version 1.x, Threat Scan to Quick Scan, and Custom Scan (with all options selected) to Full Scan.
You're correct that Hyper Scan is not available in the free version.
