Live Security Platinum

Post by Bigaldoc »

Scareware junk on web pages seems to be much more rampant these days.

My son works nights and it seems like his wife got stung by this one late last night. She may have succumbed to the temptation to let some site scan their computer. I don't know.

This one says the thing "changes" its identify several times a day and that may be why MSE didn't flag it: Live Security Platinum - Microsoft Answers

My son told me that he did a system restore this morning and then had MSE do a scan and he thinks the machine is OK. :crossfingers:
