Old reminders transferred from Lotus Notes to Google Apps ma

Several months ago our staff email was moved from Lotus Notes to Google Apps mail. There are a dozen or so old reminders, dating back to January 2010, which download into Outlook each time I open the program. I use POP to download the Google mail into Outlook. I can't see the reminders in the "new" Google apps calendar. It's an annoyance rather than a major problem, but if there is any way to solve the problem, I would be grateful for your advice.

You could try to start outlook with the CLEANREMINDERS switch.

Go to the Start > Run box and type
outlook /cleanreminders
and use the enter key to confirm

Thank you Stuart for your quick response. Since posting I have tried the cleanreminders switch, and also tried finding the stubborn reminders for deletion using the MFCMAPI tool, without success. I tend to think I am stuck with this pesky problem of reminders of things past!
