Thunderbird remote content

Post by viking33 »

Using TB 9.0.1. When receiving an email ( most all ) I get a message that it has blocked Remote Content on this message. Clicking on allow RC will then allow it on this particular message only. The next time I get an email from the same address, I get asked the same question. It does not seem to remember that I have ticked the box on that address in the address book to allow RC.
What am I missing here?
Is there another location to set this so that it will stick?
Not earthshaking but annoying.

There's an interesting knowledgebase article here that might help.

John,
Thanks for that link. The first two entries were things I have tried or are aware of but for whatever reason, the settings don't seem to stick.
I do only allow remote content for people or sites I trust and have never had any problems with non-persistent settings in earlier versions of TB. I will have to do a little more reading in the follow up link regarding about:config. Maybe something in there to pursue? :thankyou:
