Update: Thunderbird 38.1.0 released

Post by HansV »

Mozilla has released version 38.1.0 of their free email client Thunderbird.

Get it from the internal update mechanism or from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/all/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

See https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbi ... easenotes/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Regards,
Hans

I have TB 38.1.0 in my downloads folder, but when I try to double click to install it, the Firefox installer kicks in and tries to install FF. This happens on this laptop which I converted yesterday to Win 10; however I don't see how this could be an os problem but is more likely a Mozilla problem. I would like to install the TB update but cannot until I find a resolution for the issue.

Has anyone else experienced this or something similar?

:cheers: :chocciebar: :thankyou:

Version 38.2.0 has been released yesterday - see here for the US English version, or here for the international versions.
Changes: Release Notes.

See if you fare better with the new version.

Hans
