I have several email addresses and several inboxes as a consequence. I use Tools > Message Filters... to dump spam from sources I've identified by the From field in email messages. There is a filter for each inbox. Message filtering works in all but one of my inboxes. I can't figure out why. It is not a matter of some of the spam being filtered in that inbox - none of it is filtered whereas the filters work fine in others.
It is quite possible that I am standing too close to the problem and cannot break out of a bad mindset. (Seems to happen more frequently these days, alas.) If anyone can suggest things to try I would be much obliged.
I've posted on the Mozilla TB forum but have yet to receive any response. I will post back here if/when the problem is resolved.
