Error message when clicking on "Unread Mail"

I have set up a Pop3 account in Outlook. When The Unread Mail folder is grayed out and when I click on it, I get the error message "The operation failed. An object could not be found." However, I have 56 unread items. How can I display them when I click on Unread Mail?

Try this first:

- Quit Outlook.
- Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog.
- Type

outlook.exe /resetfolders

- Press Enter or click OK.
