Showing 7am - 5pm in day view
One of my coworkers wants the hours displayed on her calendar (day view) to be from 7:00am until 5:00pm without her having to scroll to see the whole time range. On my calendar, it shows 6am - 10pm. I really thought this was driven by the Windows screen resolution, but her resolution is set the same as mine is. What am I missing? It seems like it'd be an easy thing to adjust!

One of the things that influences how much of a day fits in a given space is the calendar's time scale. The default is 30 minutes, but you can change it.
In Outlook 2010, there's a Time Scale dropdown in the Arrangement group on the View tab of the ribbon:
In earlier versions, right-click an empty part of the calendar grid.
Select Other Settings from the context menu.
The Time Scale dropdown can be found in this dialog.
Alternatively, right-click the bar with the clock times to the left of the appointment grid and select a time scale from the contexct menu (this should work in all versions).

Thanks, Hans. Yes, I did actually know that and we are both set on the same time scale (30 minutes). Any other thoughts?

Perhaps one of you uses large fonts in Windows and the other one doesn't?
Best wishes,
