Calendar appointments created in iPhone do not show up in Outlook reminders
Whenever I create a calendar appointment on my iPhone, there is a 15 minute alert set by default. However, whenever my appointment comes to pass I don't see any alerts. When I go to Outlook, under reminders, it shows no reminder is set. So something about the synchronization process between the iPhone and Outlook is not working with respect specifically to the reminder alarm. The calendar appointment shows up in Outlook but there is no reminder alarm set. How can I change this? I'm trying to achieve a solution whereby entering a calendar appointment on my iPhone causes the same calendar appointment to pop up in my Outlook reminders 15 minutes before the appointment.

This appears to be a known problem without a resolution - see Outlook Calendar events won't appear properly via Iphone

Re: Calendar appointments created in iPhone do not show up in Outlook reminders
That link suggests that a way around this issue is to create a calendar appointment and then to manual go in and change the default reminder time:
"You have described this new bug by Microsoft perfectly. This worked up until a month or so ago, but Microsoft changed something and created this bug. Now when a calendar event is created in iOS (17.3), the Default Alert time set in iOS calendars do not sync to Outlook UNLESS you choose an Alert time OTHER than the Default Alert time."
However, when I try to change the default time from 15 min. to 30 min. on my iPhone, I still get no reminder set in the Outlook appt. However, if I change the reminder time in Outlook, it syncs on my iPhone. It therefore appears that the synchronization of reminders only works one way - from Outlook to iPhone, and not from iPhone to Outlook, and there is no resolution to this.
