For years now I have received a couple newsletters and have always been able to tell Outlook to download the embedded pictures but in recent emails it will not download the pictures. These newsletters come from different areas of Woody's I guess. I can click a link to view it in a WEB browser but never before had to. Any ideas how to once again make it download the pictures in Outlook?
Thanks

Have you added the sender to the Safe Senders list? To do so:
- Select the message in the main Outlook window.
- On the Home tab, in the Delete group, click Junk.
- Select 'Never Block Sender' from the dropdown menu.

Thanks. I'll have to see how it works the next time I get a new email. Just seems strange that all of a sudden it started doing this.

Re: Outlook 2010 Won't Download Newsletter Pictures
I just wanted to be sure I didn't confuse the issue. I have always in the past clicked on the link at the top of an Outlook email and told it to download the pictures. That is what has changed. I got a reply from the editor of that publication saying they had made no changes.
I followed the steps Hans outlined and added that email and its domain to the Safe Senders list. I also followed the steps in that above link but did not make any changes to that yet since one of its options seems to be saying to allow downloads from trusted sites in the Safe Senders list. I will have to see what happens when I get the next newsletter and may at that time have to uncheck that box that the links refers to.
