Printing emails the font too small

Post by matthewR »

When I print emails, the font is too small. How do I change this. Looks ok on screen but when it prints it is small.

Hi Matthew,

See if this resolves...??

Open any message in Outlook
Go to File -> Print -> Double click ‘Memo Style’ -> click Format -> Modify the Fonts and ensure they are as you need.

Rudi

I thought it was when this person printed an email, it was too small but she wants to change the default print size in the email itself. Right now it says 11. Is there a way to change that so that each email opens with say 14 pt size instead of 11?

With an email open, try holding down Ctrl and scrolling the mouse wheel.

Otherwise, have a look at Change the font or font size of the message list - Outlook - Office.com

All of these settings will apply to the new emails on writes.

The OP has NOT stated if these emails that have this issue with are outgoing or incoming.

The incoming are controlled by the sender.

They look OK on the screen because the display zoom allows this, but the font size it self does NOT change. Also note that if one has a large screen, most any thing will look OK, at full screen.

You can change the displayed font size for received plain text emails, but there is not sufficient information here to know if that is what the original poster needs
